Encryption question

Hi,

Is it possible to edit a downloaded ini file for own use even if it's encrypted? I do have the encryption key but it will just let me grab, the ini is still encrypted.

no.

if you need something changed u will have to ask whoever encrypted it if they will do it for you.

why is that?

if the creator chooses to encrypt the ini thats their descision and theirs alone.

if u want to be free todo whatever you want then the manual is available on the downloads page FREE.

learn how to do it yourself and u can do whatever you want to ur own work.

I'm sorry that I upset you it was not my intension, my point was that if I pay for a product I would like to be able to edit it for my own purpose. I'm not talking about getting anything for free.

Most elements can be managededited/moved/re-moved with rex post-process. In special cases we (team members) can edit for you.

Most important part is that I will not be able to use my own created channel icons. All other elements I can change with rex.

You can use sed thats' what i would do, after it all runs, a little script that adds local serve icons, even though i would say is an extra work, maintenance you need to do. On the other side, if icon change, changes with siteini. Keeping local icons is good for those countries that needs vpn, only for those, so there are pro and vs, as always.
