I am using WebGrab to grab data from horizon.tv for all of my Ziggo cable TV channels. Ziggo recently added a new channel called Viceland HD. I added the channel to the WebGrab++.config.xml file and I used the site_id that is listed on this site when you hover over Viceland HD: https://www.ziggogo.tv/nl/tv-gids.html
This is the correct site_id because I checked the other site_ids from this site and they are correct. The site_id is 779532327091.
The issue is that the EPG data that is grabbed for Viceland HD is not correct. Most of the EPG data is for a different channel, NPO 1 HD (which is the first channel in the list and the channel number 1 in Ziggo TV, if that helps). But not all of the data is from NPO 1 HD. Some of the data if the actual EPG data for Viceland HD. The site_id for NPO 1 HD is completely different than Viceland HD so I don't understand how the data is mixed.
I don't understand what is going on. Is it possible that Ziggo (or horizon.tv) contains the wrong data for this channel? Or is it something else? The www.ziggogo.tv guide shows the correct programming information only some of it correctly overlaps what I receive during the grab.
If anyone has any information on how to fix this, please help. In the mean time I will try to use the OTA grabber and see if that can give me correct EPG data.
I am using the same channel setting as for all other channels in the list. I am using the all horizon sites ini. So my channel line looks like:
<channel update="i" site="horizon.tv" site_id="NL/nld_779532327091" xmltv_id="VICELAND HD">VICELAND HD</channel>
Now what is different is that I use capital letters for VICELAND instead of Viceland. Could that be a problem?
If that is not a problem, should I be using the single site ini for NL? If I should be using the single site for NL, what do I have to change in my ini file?
I looked at your guide.xml and mine is different. Mine has the NPO 1 HD data for most of the EPG data. I went line by line and the EPG data starts the same as yours. It changes after this:
<programme start="20170321050000 +0000" stop="20170321053000 +0000" channel="Viceland HD"><title lang="en">VICE</title><sub-title lang="en">Playing With Nuclear Fire & No Man Left Behind</sub-title> ... stuff ... </programme>
The next <programme> is:
<programme start="20170321053000 +0000" stop="20170321053500 +0000" channel "VICELAND HD">
<title lang="en">NOS Journaal</title>
... stuff
This goes on until the next correct Viceland data which is:
<programme start="20170321231500 +0000" stop="20170321234000 +0000" channel="VICELAND HD">
<title lang="en">Black Market</title>
I use Linux but because of the problem with mono, I had to implement the php script method. So I cannot use your ini file as is. I have attached my ini file and maybe you can do a quick check of the important differences. I will tell you ahead of time that I wanted to retain the IMDB rating so I commented out some lines towards the bottom but besides that I changed nothing since fixing the file to work with php.
Ok, thanks. I will use your files later today, will try to run it from here (I'm at work, so I have to do everything through SSH).
I tested it tonight. It seemed to have worked. I used your horizon.tv.ini (with some minor modification to retain IMDB ratings) and your horizon_tv.php and deleted the other php scripts.
Thank you, you solved my problem.
