I found this site and donated in hopes of finding a working EPG for a few US channels.
KCBS 2 Los Angeles
KCAL 9 Los Angeles
KABC 7 Los Angeles
Classic Cinema
24/7 Channels (Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis, Thriller, Disney, and Crime Movies)
If these channels will populate with guide info, please let me know. I looked in the SiteIni Pack_2021.09.15 but didn't see KCAL, 24/7, or Classic Cinema. This is all new to me, so thanks for any help.
Yes you can get EPG for these channels. Look in international folder. Tvguide.com.ini will have all but 24/7 channels. These can be given dummy or fixed EPG “Rick & Morty all day long” look in MiSC folder read Fixed.ini instructions. Give it a shot, if problems Post log and config.xml (please don’t post your license key remove it before posting).
or tvtv.us
I created an xml and uploaded it. I can now access it on my TV App but only the icons appear, no guide info. The only 2 channels I found were ABC 7 Los Angeles and CBS 2 Los Angeles...
I started small hoping to see success. I have uploaded my logs and xml here for you to suggest where I went wrong.
Thanks
tvtv.us states in my log they don't permit "epg grabbing". I'm not sure how to find other sources to fill EPG for my channels..

This is all I need, but I will need help. I spent all day just trying to get ABC and CBS LA with no luck. Thanks
Search forum for tvtv and you’ll find your answer. use tvguide.com.ini it’s easier
it's a warning don't worry. to get it to work you need to modify robots file as described in siteini remarks (or search forum) and make it read only.
I edited my tvtvus.robots file and made some progress in a sense, but it pulled the wrong channel info on both....?
I need to learn how to create from tvguide.com. I read some info here about it, just trying to figure it all out...ie: .ini, and save a cookie? Files posted show my attempt to get TV Guide info for zipcode. I'm trying (Newbie struggles :-). Thanks for your help.
jbetbetbet>> You are a very effective teacher. Concise and helpful.
I can see the syntax error that had me spinning my wheels for two days. I have now had success with the local channels I needed. Thanks for your help getting me off the starting line, I appreciate it. Now I can work on the above mentioned 24/7 channels. It feels great to achieve some progress.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I had success with this, and I created custom icons for the dummy channels.
