How to auto sync guide.xml with Dropbox?!!

I created Dropbox account and put there guide.xml, created link so I am hosting it for TiviMate.

But how I can automatically sync it with Dropbox folder? I've using MEGA since forever but I must use Dropbox to host EPG file. With MEGA I choose MEGA folder and another folder from PC to sync and everything gets synced as files get modified, I can't even find option to sync WebGrab+ folder and Dropbox in order to create download link out of guide.xml.

Are there any alternatives? Can I even use MEGA url in TiviMate?

What are you using for hosting EPG file?

Thanks!

No idea what dropbox or Mega or TiviMate are. It sounds like you need to sync or "move" guide.xml whenever is updated, to wherever you need, that's up to you !! There are many sync utilities, scripts, etc etc, just google to find file transfer utility. As you understand, wg++ produce a list everytime it runs, then is up to you do whatever you like. May be some other expert with this things can help you, anyway i would google for it.

Strange you don't know what is TiviMate, it's one of, if not the most popular IPTV player for Android. Do you watch IPTV at all?

How you host your guide.xml? Let's say you have Windows IPTV player, Android TV Box, Smart TV, Phone, Tablet and you use same IPTV app across all devices. You will insert EPG link, in this case we need EPG link for our own EPG.

I synced guide.xml to MEGA (Cloud service similar to Google Drive with more storage) and when I pasted link from shared guide.xml into TiviMate it couldn't download and process guide.xml.

I am wondering, what hosting service are thousand of people from WebGrab community using, do you people manually transfer guide.xml to your Android devices every few days?

I found only one post here on forum about EPG hosting: http://webgrabplus.com/content/good-site-hosting-epg

But I have no idea how to configure Dropbox to sync together with WebGrab after doing it's grabbing process without changing the hosting link I will put in any possible IPTV player.

Well i do not watch...my wife does. I host file to a webserver and all apps and my decoder point to that.I prefer (as i introduced xz compression many years ago in enigma2), to compress in that format which is now (thanks god) supported by 99.9% of the apps. All i do is run a script with crontab, run wg++ on ubuntu +compress + transfer(scp)to a public server, well not really public, just those that know the link. Now depends on where you transfer to...if with login, scp (ssh keys between hosts) or whatever methos is required.
Example of crontab that runs epg.sh every day at 2.00 AM

contenent of epg.sh :

cd /home/ubuntu/Desktop/.wg++/
mono WebGrab+Plus.exe
mv /home/ubuntu/Desktop/.wg++/guide.xml /home/ubuntu/Desktop/.wg++/new/guide.xml
cp guide.xml ITA
xz -z ITA
scp /home/ubuntu/Desktop/.wg++/ITA.xz root@139.66.125.190:/var/www/html/epg/
rm ITA.xz
exit

this is a very simple script where i copied with ssh-copy-id the ssh keys to a server 139.66....to authorize ubuntu for the transfer. Very simple. Now same methods may be with user/login or api key or similar methods should be for anything, googledrive, dropbox or whatever you call it. Just google to see what is needed to transfer where you want.

I host with Dropbox. Did you actually download the Dropbox App to your machine? If so, then you just set the output to you Dropbox path. Also, not sure if you already know this, but when you get your EPG URL from Dropbox, your URL will end in "0" and you need to replace that with a "1"
