I'm grabbig EPG using siteini.pack/Sweden/tv.nu.ini
All my entries contains the description twice. For example:
Get ready for the Brooklyn Beatdown. The home of New York Islanders will be the center stage for the event, when 256 of the world's top Street Fighter V players have a chance to compete in Barclays Center in New York. The prestigious prize pool is 75.000 US dollars. Get ready for the Brooklyn Beatdown. Using linuxserver/docker-webgrabplus
How can I begin to debug this?
Updated siteini pack to rev.10 so you can see https://github.com/SilentButeo2/webgrabplus-siteinipack/blob/master/site... . Easiest is add a condition, do scrub that element if it is empty (scrub description if the index_description is empty in this case) so you do not have duplicates. Not always a good solution because most of the times the index description have a short description, so in such cases there are different methods that can be used.
That worked nicely, and thanks for the explanation. cheers.
edit: hmm, actually the description is still showing twice, strange. could have sworn it looked good when I checked yesterday.
My bad, try again rev.11
Now the double entries are gone, thanks. However there are some strangeness.
1. There is a (n) at the end of every description.
2. Seems like the description are cut short, maybe there is a limit of the length? For example. Now on BBC Britt there is:
Together on Graham's sofa: the stars of new fantasy adventure \"Dolittle\.(n)
But the whole paragraph on tv.nu is:
Together on Graham's sofa: the stars of new fantasy adventure "Dolittle", Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. and Oscar winner Emma Thompson, actor Hugh Laurie, in `The Personal History of David Copperfield', Monty Python's Terry Gilliam, director of `The Man Who Killed Don Quixote', and music from Sara Bareilles, performing `She Used To Be Mine' from her musical `Waitress'.
Maybe its becuase of \" ?
use in config mode m n
Use Revision 11 - [28/01/2020]
m n worked thanks.
In the latest commit all descriptions are the same: BBC Brit today has all entries as:
Exploring the topics of danger, food, and accommodation, and visiting everywhere from the Polar Ice caps to the Middle East.
