Too many suspicious titles

I have started and configured webgrabplus and it seems to be working well. My only issue is that my first grab of 7 days took less time than subsequent grabs of 7 days set at incremental.

I keep getting suspicious title in index page messages like:

[  Debug ]    suspicious      title in index page
[  Debug ] Can't match any (sub)detail title(s) with any index title(s):
[  Debug ]        index title(s):
[  Debug ]                        "Live College Football"
[  Debug ]  (sub)detail title(s):
[  Debug ]                        "Live CFB: Texas State @ Louisiana"
[  Debug ]    suspicious      title in index page
[  Debug ] Can't match any (sub)detail title(s) with any index title(s):
[  Debug ]        index title(s):
[  Debug ]                        "30 for 30"

Therefore what should take about 30 minutes ends up taking 4 hours!

Why is this happening how can a few hours later cause so many programs to be suspicious. I am using radiotimes and sky so far sky doesn't have these suspicious titles

Thanks

I worked out why it was.. i just set radio time match to =0 to avoid such issues. Still weird that running it again almost instantly after causes this.

Is there any wAY I can speed it up further?

Hello Gopal, here I don't think anybody has the "magic" glass ball to find out what are you talking about.

All I can say is tell us what :

1. The site ini you have problem with

2. which channel you are grabbing

3. Make sure you run the latest webgrab version (now 2.1.5  at  http://webgrabplus.com/download/sw/v2.1.5 )

Just writing "I am using radiotimes and sky so far sky doesn't have these suspicious titles" is not helpful. I can guess you are talking about UK site, but least and not last the one at your first post is normal, some site use a title like "Soccer match" and then in details "Manchester United - Chelsea" then if possible, you can set one or the other, depending if the modification has "side effect" on other channels. Second problem if it takes hours then most probably there will be something wrong with site ini, suspicious titles do not slow down everything.

Cheers

Hi,

I seem to have a similar number of suspicious titles, the majority (99%) of which seem to be purely that the new title has the Episode SxxEyy appended. I am not sure why as the Episodes are always there on the webpage. Another thread suggested adjusting titlematchfactor to 30 but I was wondering (a) why this is necessary at all i.e why does it think the original title does not have the Episode? and (b) will I miss anything if I make it 30?

For (a) the odd thing is it seems to know it is replacing one title with the SAME title ??? see e.g. below (there are hundreds of these entries in the log).

[ Debug ] suspicious title in index page
[ Debug ] Can't match any (sub)detail title(s) with any index title(s):
[ Debug ] index title(s):
[ Debug ] "The HBO Movie Show"
[ Debug ] (sub)detail title(s):
[ Debug ] "The HBO Movie Show E9"
[ Info ] epg correction :
[ Info ] CHANGED show corrected,
[ Info ] show with ---- start = 15/09/2019 11:10:00 stop = 15/09/2019 11:40:00 title = The HBO Movie Show E9
[ Info ] Replaces ----- start = 15/09/2019 11:10:00 stop = 15/09/2019 11:40:00 title = The HBO Movie Show E9
[ Debug ] suspicious title in index page

Thanks !

k.

I see. Do you have any suggestions how they might be fixed please, as the data it pulls down is OK, it just takes a very long time. If I set titlematchfactor=30 or 40 it will fix it but is there a cleaner way to make it ignore the difference?

Thank you,

k.
