I am not seeing the title of programmes in my epg. Instead the channel ID is put in to every title. This is apparent in the guide.xml
I had a previous problem with the epg showing the wrong day, seem to have solved that by changing the listings from 'title_HD' to just 'title', but got this problem instead.
regex shudnt have been used for the title scrub.
"name":"xxxx" appears twice,once as the show title and once as the channel name.
regex gets both and puts the channel name first(guide.xml has 2 <title lines) so thats the title you see.
index_title.scrub {single|"name":"||",|",}
or if one insists on regex.
index_title.scrub {regex||^.*?"name":"(.*?)",||}
this would fix it as it gets only the first title("name":"xxx") which is the correct show title.
I changed index_title with more specific regex same revision
I tried running rex just to see if it would fix the problem.
I had the title problem previous to changing
postprocess grab="y" run="n">rex
to
postprocess grab="y" run="y">rex
Have now changed back to the previous, will run everything, but don't think it will fix the problem.
I notice other problems in my guide.xml, the title and description do not match - I am getting the description of the previous programme.
I tried reinstalling, but didn'tfix anything with that. Should I try wiping the whole folder and reinstalling?
personally i wouldnt use regex
index_title.scrub {single|"name":"||",|",}
this will work 100%
also u may need to run a update with update f once to force a complete epg update.
using i it wont update.
BTW, the problem is only in the files from dagenstv.com and telvis.fi, no problem with areena.
Yes the showsplit was changed and 2 "name" apperead, one contains the channel name , the other the show title.As i said this was fixed with same revision.
Totally not working for svt1. Shows no shows for today everything for the following days out of sync, times wrong on other channels.
Ran with 'force', so not old faults reappearing.
This is svt1 for 7 days, can you tell me which are wrong? Or do you see 2 hrs difference?
From the beginning, the first programme is datestamped programme start="20240814000000 +0000" stop="20240814000000 +0000" channel="SVT1">
That programme has no description.
The next programme is datestamped programme start="20240815040000 +0000" stop="20240815040000 +0000" channel="SVT1">
We've jumped a day. The description on this one is the missing description from the previous programme.
All the following are pushed forward one day, containing the description of the previous programme.
I haven't been through every post, but those I have looked at seem to follow the same pattern
signs of a bad showplit...
my own version,dunno whats ini ini.pack
seems fine.
I fed your version in to my user ini folder, and it gives the right results, at least for SVT1 (haven't checked the others yet).
I looked at the ini files, and the pack contains a different version. I had updated, using the tool provided.
Tested updating again, and it is still wrong version in site.ini pack - last revision @Revision 12 - [11/08/2024] Mat8861
yes its best to create a siteini.user folder(it can have sub folders like in siteini.pack)
any files in there are not overwritten when a siteini update is done.
wg searches for ini,s in..
1. wg directory(usually wg++)
2. siteini.user
3.siteini.pack
the first ini it finds in the above order it uses.
u cannot have duplicates in any directory.
mat8861 will see this post and either update version in siteini.pack with mine or fix existing one.
