There is an updated version online...

Its testet and working on opensuse and linux mint.

@Blackbear199
The directory of .wg++ must have the siteini.pack
directory and the WebGrab++.config.xml inside.

I knew that the chosen destination pathes for windows and linux are not the perfect choice for wg++

also not for newbees to find the install path...

but on windows you can use a shorter way

%localappdata%\WebGrab+Plus

to get the destination of webgrabplus

Version 1.09 is online!

Includes now a fast recursive search routine for the WebGrab++.config.xml

Please try it out - hope you external drive destination will be found now.

the search function was not really the best thing...

i removed it and have finalized the edit function to the install folder in v1.10

you must enter the complete path like

/home/user_name/install_path_of_wg++

that will work for all physical destinations on linux

an osx64 version is available and it gives you the opportunity to create the config file.

then you can use the mac port of wg++ to get your guide.xml.

but there is a restriction: you must have the content of wg++ and the siteini.pack in the folder

/user/your_user_name/wg++

Is there a chance you can implement backup and restore feature? I have bunch of channels created manually and now when I started using your program for the 1st time I need to configure everything all over again.

Thanks!

Hi,
the most efficient, fastest and easiest way, simply
create a copy of the xmlgrabplus.ini file in your
document folder.

This file contains all program settings and also
the last stored channels.

I will think about an implementation.

Thanks for your suggestion!

Thanks for quick reply!

That what you explained would be a backup right?

In this case I need restore feature where I will put already configured webgrab config into xmlgrabplus so it immediately recognises 250 channels in exact order as in webgrab config.

That feature would be awesome. Something like 3 buttons in settings: "Import WebGrab config", "Import xmlgrabplus config" and last "Export xmlgrabplus config".

Yes,
its like a backup.

Make a copy and then you can rename it in

xmlgrabplus.date1
xmlgrabplus.date2
xmlgrabplus.date3
xmlgrabplus.date4
xmlgrabplus.date5

or something in any kind of that.

Rename it back to .ini to restore an older before you start the xmlgrabplus.

Somehow - some buttons are not the work that i have to do...

just rewriting of the complete load and save routine, that
is in the moment handled during opening and closing.

I will engage some time to work that out.
