UK: radiotimes stops

Today i found this:  https://metabroadcast.com/blog/changes-to-atlas-access

Annoncing that radiotimes in the form as it exist will cease.

As I was using this quite a lot, I wonder about alternatives.

I know about : uk-sky.com and tvguide.co.uk and yo.tv. But if you want details of the broadcast they are quite slow.

Is there anything else?

(The Guardian does not work anymore  (and I cannot see how it can be fixed)

Nice!!!

I did not even know about this website.  Will become very handy.  Is indeed fast enough.

I had a look at the source code of the webiste, and indeed scrubbing this is straigthforward.

I found the mobile version of tvguide.

This one is also quite fast.  I made 2 versions.  One for only reading the index pages.  And one which also reads the details pages.

The detail pages are only needed if you want the Category and Actors/Director.  So for channels which do not have Movies/Series the detail pages do not bring more details.   Use the index version for those channels

If you want to make the zingzing SiteIni even faster change:

site {url=zingzing.co.uk|timezone=UTC|maxdays=7|cultureinfo=en-GB|charset=UTF-8|titlematchfactor=90}

to

site {url=zingzing.co.uk|timezone=UTC|maxdays=7.1|cultureinfo=en-GB|charset=UTF-8|titlematchfactor=90}

and:

scope.range{(urlindex)|end}
index_variable_element.modify {set(format=date,yyyy/MM/d H:mm)|'urldate'}
index_variable_element.modify {calculate(format=date,yyyy/MM/d H:mm)|7:0:00 +}
index_variable_element.modify {calculate(format=date,unix)}
end_scope

to

scope.range{(urlindex)|end}
index_variable_element.modify {calculate(format=date,unix)|'urldate' 7:0:00 +}
end_scope

It will read all the data for 7 days in one page.

Found out that in the latest version of WG++ this SiteIni does not work.

Found the reason for it (and a solution):

Activate:

*index_date.scrub {single (force)|<div id="channel-listings">|<h2>|</h2>|<table}
*index_showsplit.scrub {multi ()|<table|<tr>|</tr>|</table>}

And deactivate these statements:

index_variable_element.modify {calculate (format=date,ddd dd MMM)|'urldate'}
index_showsplit.scrub {multi ()|<h2>'index_variable_element'</h2>|<tr>|</tr>|<!-- Begin comScore Tag -->}

The problem is with the  (format=date,ddd dd MMM) statement. This does not seem to work in the lattest version.  (bug)
