setanta.com schedules moved to rugbypass.com

A while back Francis kindly helped me out with a global website setanta.com [see http://webgrabplus.com/content/setantacomasia-no-longer-working]

Recently setanta in asia has moved to Rugbypass. Could I kindly request an updated ini for http://www.rugbypass.com/schedule please?

Thanks

k.

Hi Blackbear199

Thanks for having a look at this, much appreciated. The Setanta site www.setanta.com doesn;t seem to come up any more at all. When I wrote the message it basically redirected to http://edit.setanta.com/asia/TV-Listings/

http://edit.setanta.com/asia/TV-Listings/ overlays Rugbpass and tells you to go to that site. The rugbypass site does seem to have schedules, but it seems these are pretty difficult to get WebGrab+ to recognise?

I can go to NowTV, the cable provider, and WebGrab+ seems to be able to work that out like otehr NoWTV channels, so I now have a schedule; just not as good a one as the Setanta One used to offer.

Good News.

I happened to check setanta sports asia site and their epg is up and working.

i only see 2 channels though,Setanta Sports Channel and Setanta Sports Plus.would that be right?

That is great news, thanks Blackbear. Will test those new inis over the next few days.

When I visit www.setanta.com it goes to what appears to be a UK site.

For Asia, where I am based, searching Setanta Asia TV Listings shows http://edit.setanta.com/asia/tv-listings/ and these are indeed 'back'.

Typing in http://www.as.setantasportsplus.com/ from your ini, also comes up with (for my region and the sportrs I want and get) the correct schedule.

So all good from my side for setantasportsplus, although there may be some folks actually looking for www.setanata.com. I am sure they will come calling when they need schedules.

Yes; For me, on http://www.as.setantasportsplus.com/ Setanta Sports Channel and Setanta Sports Plus, 2 channels is correct and fine. I assume this is the ini you attached?

It does seem that http://www.setanta.com/ has about 6 channels, looking at that page.

Cheers and thanks again!

yes.attatched ini and channel.xml is for the asia site.

Tried the new inis, unfortunately the schedules don't come out right.

The correct shows with times are here http://edit.setanta.com/asia/TV-Listings/

I checked using the physical show that was playing. I think it is OK, just 8 hours out, so I looked at the old ini. Sure enough your new ini had |timezone=UTC| whereas Francis previously put |timezone=UTC+08:00|

site {url=setanta.com.asia|timezone=UTC+08:00|maxdays=21|cultureinfo=en|charset=utf-8|titlematchfactor=90|episodesystem=onscreen|keepindexpage}

So I added+08:00 back as above thinking I was really clever. But it doesn't work.

I'd be grateful if you could have another wee crack at it and see if you can get them to match up. I'm out of town for a few days, but will get back to you with anything you need, so I can help you work it out.

Cheers

Hi Blackbear199,

I tried timezone=? and it gave me the list, I chose my region (which was the same as I wrote above), but it still seems to be out of whack. I can see where it becomes correct but it doesn't seem to be an even offset compared to the website. Changing the offset doesn't seem to change anything it is the same if I have timezone=UTC+00:00 or timezone=UTC+08:00??

I'd really appreciate you having another look if you have time. Logs attached. Note that I have two schedules in the XML, referring to Setanta Sports, one called Setanta Sports Channel, one Setanta Sports. The former is the one I am trying to get right, the latter is correct, but has poor EPG descriptions.

Ignore the log entry that says -07:00 to +08:00, this is because I had UTC+00:00, then UTC-08:00 (which have me a +01:00 to -07:00 message), then UTC+08:00 which says -07:00 to +08:00 in the log.

I use XMLTV EPG Viewer.exe to check, and it works fine for other channels.

Thanks very much.

k.

first thing i would do is update to the latest beta webgrab.exe version.

OK, I did that, but there is no change to the status of the time offset for Setanta.

I also lost both my Foxsports channel data completely, and the time offset for DeutschWelle went out of whack as well. crying

Is the xmltv_time_correct utility still recommended? I might just have to revert to 1.1.1.55/27 and use that ???
