Gracenote - Affiliate Grid - Not on Zap2It native site

Hi,

I am attempting to get rich guide data for Digicel Trinidad & Tobago, particularly the sports channels like Sportsmax, Flow, Rush etc. TVGuide has the channel listing but the guide data is generic and incomplete. I noticed that Gracenote has richer/more details for EPG than tvguide.com.

Is there a siteini for Gracenote? Particularly this one

https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/grid-affiliates.html?gt=sp&aid=digiceltrin

Notice it has more details for channels 301-308 as an example vs. TVguide which has Flow Trinidad IPTV but simply has placeholders labeled "Sportsmax Programming".

I checked the zap2it and it doesn't accept the format "digiceltrin".

Hoping to have something to pull the EPG for these channels which richer data please.

Thanks as usual to the WG+ team.

So it uses the same format as zap2it so just renaming to gracenote.com won't do. Any help appreciated. Here is the URL I get from the Print option that shows Country as TTO and PostalCode as TT.

https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/api/printGrid?lineupId=0004593&timespan...

Hope that helps, and makes it easier to get a nice encrypted ini for this one please based on the zap2it ini.

Thanks in advance.

This is resolved.

I used the zap2it.ini although it does not show on their website.

Used c1-0004593 as the first update in channel generation. From there it was c2-0004593 and the Provider to get your channels.

That's after looking at the print URL a bit more and using the lineupID.

Perhaps it would be good to document these "hidden" country codes/postal in the ini for those seeking some of these hard to find listings?

I dont think it should be a developer concern to publish all these "hidden" postal codes. Thi ini contains remarks at the top helping people understanding the procedures to get the wanted channel lists. Also zap2it website only shows USA and Canada in the selection, so finding these hidden listings and group them all is somewhat complicated and useless imo

And they will block access pretty soon ;)

Agreed. Not saying it should be the Dev responsibility, so apologies if that impression was gained. Just somewhere to track it. It very well might be this thread lol.

I really hope not, else I'll probably bug you guys as there aren't many ini/support for Caribbean TV guides/stations in the current SiteInI pack. I do appreciate the work here though for providing the platform for it.
