Ubuntu version upgrade

Hello friends.
I haven't visited the site for a long time and I see new version of the software with license codes, etc.
I have: Ubuntu server 16.04
With fully operational :WebGrab+Plus/w MDB & REX Postprocess -- version V2.1
Running on: Unix 4.4.0.142
Environment: 4.0.30319.42000
Mono version: 6.4.0.198 (tarball Tue Sep 24 01:20:30 UTC 2019)

Can I upgrade WebGrab+Plus to the last V3.0 or additional updates are required (mono , etc.)?
I ask because the machine is in use and I don't want to experiment.
