Issues with tv.com.cookies.txt

Hi,

I'm using libreelec along with WebGrab+Plus 2.1.5 and TVheadend 4.2

I seem to keep getting errors with my tv.com.cookies.txt file. I think the file was created according to the tv.com_instructions.txt but maybe I missed something.

Anyway it keeps saying it can not find the tv.com.cookies.txt file even though the file is in the same directory as all the other webgrab files at /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus

I thought maybe I created the tv.com.cookies.txt file incorrectly but have no idea on how to check it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for responding.

I tried chromium and Opera on linux using the add on you provided. The output looks totally different but I still got an error message stating it can not find the file.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks again

your cookie file is being written in json format which webgrab cant understand as it expects it html
click on edit this cookie, then options and at the bottom change it to netscape as in my screen shot.

then save your cookie again and it should work..

Yep, I just double checked. The file is definitely in ~/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus. I see it with an update date of this morning.

/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus/tv.com.cookies.txt
and
~/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus/tv.com.cookies.txt

are not the same location, the first is a path from your root directory and the second is a path from your home directory.

ok, I'm not the most knowledgeable about linux but I did the following:

LibreELEC:/ # cd storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus
and it took me to the following:
LibreELEC:~/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.webgrabplus #

So basically it automatically changed storage to ~

I think the issue is with LibreElec. I think I'm going to try another OS and see if I have better luck.

Thanks for your help.
