yes in ur wg config xml u didnt change the filename path(see screenshot)...

you shud also read this as there are a few other settings you should include like useragent.

most have a default if not set.

Ok, thank you. Ill check it after work. Why does it have that path? That's from my PC. When I try to delete and put in the correct config with filezilla it keeps resorting back to that C path.

How would I fix the permission problem? Also when I launch the webgrab plus through ssh. It seems to work correctly but it is showing the path from my desktop. I dont want that. I want the path from ubuntu server. It even still has the C folder in ubuntu config. Seems like it is launching from the ubuntu server but using the path from desktop. Boy am I stumped. Also, for the user agent it shows this.
some valid values:
random (the program generates a random string)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; MSIE 9.0; WIndows NT 9.0; en-US)
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 0.5; en-us) AppleWebKit/522+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/419.3

Im using chrome not mozilla.

did u change the filename path in the wg config on ur ubuntu server?
if you didnt no file will be written as the default c:\xxxx path doesnt exist.
this is also why ur gettin permission error(trying to write to a directory that dont exist).

I just ended up uninstalling the webgrab++ from my pc. That ended up fixing my problem. Thank you for your help Blackbear. I have a question. Is there a way to download only channels from an existing xml and have it assign correct ids to the channels?

look in ur misc folder in siteini.pack for merge-xmltv.ini
there also a info.txt file on how to use it.
if this file has all the data in the same timezone u can use this, its its all diff time offset ur epg will be incorrect as u can only set 1 timezone= setting in the ini.
