installer V2 (WORK IN PROGRESS!)

Step 1 : Download and install Mono Runtime and Mono Develop for OS X from here (tested with 2.10.11)

Step 2 : Get the latest Linux version of WebGrab+Plus and save it in your home folder

Step 3 : Extract/install the package.

cd ~
tar -zxvf WebGrabPlus_V2.0.tar.gz

Step 4 : Create your own config files (do this only for an install, not during an update)

cp ~/wg++/WebGrab++.config.example.xml ~/wg++/WebGrab++.config.xml
cp ~/wg++/mdb/mdb.config.example.xml ~/wg++/mdb/mdb.config.xml
cp ~/wg++/rex/rex.config.example.xml ~/wg++/rex/rex.config.xml

Step 5: Configure WG++ to your own needs (see the configuration howto)

Step 6 : Run the program. Execute next in a command line window.

cd ~/wg++
mono bin/WebGrab+Plus.exe "$PWD"

Step 7 : For PVR specific examples look at "interact with your PVR software"

Step 1 : Download and install Mono Runtime and Mono Develop for OS X from here (tested with 2.10.11)

Step 2 : Get the latest Linux version of WebGrab+Plus

Step 3 : Extract the archive in a temporary directory (eg: /users/Jan/wg++_temp1)
Extracting can be done by (for example) StuffitExpander or 7zip.

Step 4 : Get the latest upgrade file

Step 5 : Extract the archive in a temporary directory (eg: /users/Jan/wg++_temp2)

Step 6 : Create a directory where you will place/install WG++ (eg: /users/Jan/wg++)

Step 7 : Copy the REX and MDB folders from wg++_temp1 into /users/Jan/wg++

Step 8 : Copy the WebGrab+Plus.config.xml file from wg++_temp1 into /users/Jan/wg++

Step 9 : Copy the WebGrab+Plus.exe file from wg++_temp2 into /users/Jan/wg++

Step 10: Configure WG++ to your own needs (see the configuration howto)

Step 11 : Run the program. Execute next in a command line window (Terminal).

cd /users/Jan/wg++
mono WebGrab+Plus.exe "/users/Jan/wg++"
