Same problem with my account
Hello, I just registered yesterday and today I changed my password to log into the website. I believe I have set up my webgrab++.config.xml correctly from what I have read in the forums and other documentation. I would like to learn how to do this only for a dummy xml as I want to populate more info for 24/7 channels in my IPTV program guide. Attached is my webgrab++.config info as well as the WGLicense.log and a PDF showing the brief window that opens and closes after I click on the WG++ Icon. I'm using Windows 10 Pro, the newest version of WG++ and I installed dotnet 8.0. I would be happy to donate once I get the hang of this, as I am only using this for a dummy xml for 24/7 channels. Please advise on what I may be doing wrong to get the License has Expired warning. Thank you.
There is nothing wrong.
You get licence expired because your not a donator.
Look at the line after that....performance setting which shows registered_user.
That's the mode webgrab is running at.
That chart shows what data is available for each mode.
Btw your console screenshot shows un_registered_user
I assume this wasn't taken as the same time as your license log as they should both show the same(registered_user)
The screenshots were all taken at the same time? So if I am a registered user, why is it when I run the program, a window called WebGrab+Plus/w MDB & REX Postprocess opens (WG Window.pdf) and then seconds later it closes and nothing else happens? All I have in my config file is one channel... What am I missing? Okay hold on.... I just now opened the log.txt file and I see "xmltv input file - C:\Users\Dell5530e\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus\guide.xml - found" and when I use Notepad to open guide.xml I now see my Dummy EPG information! I'm sorry, I was expecting a window to open like a normal Windows program, lol. I'm going to load this guide.xml into my IPTV Player and assign a channel to it and see how the TV Guide displays the program info. Thank you
it worked!
