I tried to update some Rakuten Channels but get an error with some of the channels:

[Error ] Unable to update channel NL: Top Films - Rakuten TV
[Critical] Generic syntax exception:

[Error ] unable to update channel, try again later
[ Info ] Existing guide data restored!

I think now you need ip or vpn from the country you grab, the channel list works fine from any country( no ip or vpn needed)
In your case i had to use vpn for netherland
Thankx mat! I'm from the Netherlands but tried it with vpn anyway. See attatched the logging. ps: most of the Racuten channels I want are fine but some are not.

add ! to your mode settings.it disables the robot check..
